• Word Processor is a computer program or device that provides for input, editing, formatting and output of text often with some additional features.
• MS word uses WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) display
• Menu bar: the word menu is displayed at the top of the screen. The main menu further displays a sub menu.
• Tool bar: Helps you perform task faster and with great ease. Toolbar provides shortcut to menu command. Toolbar is just located below the menu bar. The two of the most commonly used tool bar are the formatting tool bar and standard tool bar.
• Drawing tool bar: Contains drawing and text tools for creating graphics
• Status Bar: Displays information about the currently active document.
