Instruction- an approach to help those with information needs to want to learn how libraries and information sources work so that they can find and use resources independently

Guidance - providing assistance in the conduct of search for information sources
Bibliographic control - (also known as information organization or bibliographic organization) is the process by which information resources are described so that users are able to find and select that information resource
Information Broker - "data agent"
Information Broker - Individuals or firms who search out and organize information for users
Information Broker - Locate and interpret information in the light of the problem the client seeks to solve
