All vaccines tested on animals before tested on humans- some disagree with animal testing
ALSO animal based substances may be used to produce a vaccine= some disagree with this

Testing vaccines on humans can be tricky
eg volunteer may put themselves at unnecessary risk of contracting the disease because they think they are fully protected - eg having unprotected sex because they think they are protected from having the new vaccine - vaccine may not work

Some do not want the vaccine because of side effects - but are still protected because of herd immunity. - some people think this is UNFAIR

If there was an EPIDEMIC of a new disease (eg new influenza virus), there would be a RUSH to RECEIVE A VACCINE and difficult decisions have to be made about who is first to receive it
