Euthanasia

• For views on euthanasia:
• Many humanists support the dignity in dying movement which campaigns the right to choose to die
• If someone is suffering then euthanasia is an act of kindness
• Against views of euthanasia:
• Suffering can be relieved with hospices, drugs
• There is always the hope of miracle healing (people have been known to make amazing recoveries)
• People feel obliged to end their life if they feel a burden if euthanasia was made legal
