    Title: The Prelude means an introduction which could relate to Wordsworth’s life of youthfulness and innocence

    Juxtaposition because they are direct opposites of each other. The frosty season represent the freshness/whimsicalness of the outside while the twilight blazed shows the contrast of the inside.

    He was having so much fun outside that he did not want to go back inside. This shows his childish, rebellious and carefree side.

    Triplet. “rapture“= extreme happiness and joy

    Assonance adds to the loud and ominous sound. The precipices represent mountains and are the same noises as the children but more ominous and deafening.

    Deep sadness and it stands out to referent the new feeling which really stands out to the poems persona. The caesura in the last 3 lines break up and slow the rhythm making it seem more pensive and sombre.

    The Death of the evening could represent a loss of innocence and childhood. The end stop line represents the death and complete end of innocence and childhood.
