Pressure and atmospheric pressure

• In a liquid the lower you are e.g in a swimming pool the more dense it is as there is more liquid above you. Therefore there is more pressure that you will feel
• When submerging an object in water the force working on it is upthrust that allows it to float in water as there is a difference in the pressure of air and the water
• Atmospheric pressure - As you get higher and higher out of the earths atmosphere density decreases. There is a thin layer of gas above the earths surface. and as you pass through there are less and less particles lowing pressure
