  • WMM
The working memory model (WMM) is a representation of how short-term memory is organised and how it functions. It was proposed by Baddeley and Hitch in 1974 as an updated version of STM. It suggests that STM is an active processor
  • WMM
The WMM is concerned with the part of the mind that is active when we are temporarily storing and manipulating information.•The model consists of four main components which are qualitatively different in terms of their capacity and coding.
  • Episodic Buffer

The episodic buffer acts as a “backup” store which communicates with both long-term memory and the components of working memory.
