sterilise equipment & surfaces
sterilise innoculating loop through a bunsen burner flame
open a sterile agar gel plate near a bunsen burner flame
bacteria spread evenly onto plate using an innoculating loop
place sterile filter paper discs containing antibiotic onto the plate
attach the lid to plate w tape
place plate upside down into an incubator - at 25 degrees
after a few days calculate the zone of inhibition
