rp 6: photosynthesis

• 1. place a boiling tube 10cm away from a LED light source
  2. fill boiling tube w sodium hydrogen carbonate solution - releases carbon dioxide
  3. put a piece of pondweed into the boiling tube w the cut end at the top
  4. leave for 5 minutes
  5. start stopwatch & count the number of bubbles produced in 1 min
  6. repeat step 5 2 more times & calc mean
  7. repeat whole experiment but increase distance from light source by 10cm each time until 40cm
  8. plot a graph
