Persecution of Chritians

• Something that has always taken place + there has been many martyrs ( those killed for their religious beliefs). Jesus was a martyrs + warned followers they would be persecuted
• Chritians believe they have a divine command to spread good news of Jesus, even if means they‘re in danger.
• Where Christians = a minority religion, they are treated unjustly + in some places, terrorist organisations specifically target them, forcing to leave homes + attacking.
• Organisation - Christians Freedom International, Open Doors, help persecuted Christian’s by providing:

  • Bibles
  • emergency support
  • campaigning for human rights
• Interfaith Council for Wales, Christian Muslim Forum, Council of Christians and Jews , Advisors to the Bishops Conference.
