• Simplified Rules in Volleyball

  • The team is only allowed 3 contacts with the ball
  • All types of service are allowed however in National and International games ONLY overhead or jump serve is accepted
  • You have 8 seconds to serve the ball
  • Touching the line with your foot during service is a FAULT
  • Any parts of the body that touch the NET is a fault
  • Any ball attack that touches the line is considered INBOUND or INSIDE
  • Each player is allowed to contact the ball once
  • A libero is not allowed to attack and serve the ball. His specialization is on ground defense
  • A spike is also called ATTACK
  • Rotation of players is clockwise, otherwise it will be a violation or Fault Rotation
  • You can call for a time out and will only last for 30 seconds
