Hydrosphere: Long term climatic events can potentially lower the storage capacity significantly.
Lithosphere: Processes such as surface runoff and precipitation input water into this store
Atmosphere: Evaporation increases due to climate change can increase amount of water stored as gas (water vapour) in the atmosphere
Atmosphere positive feedback: More condensation leads to more precipitation
Atmosphere negative feedback: More precipitation increases the amount of water in the hydrosphere
Cryosphere: Temprature increases due to global warming, which reduces the amount of water stored in the cryosphere, however increases the amount of water in the hydrosphere
Water store inputs: precipitation, snow melt, groundwater flow , evapotranspiration
Water store outputs: Evaporation, percolation, surface runoff
