The Hypothesis

• Our findings found that handwritten notes appear to be more effective when taken on laptops. We hypothesised that the mental and physical processing involved with handwriting will improve encoding and the retrieval of information because it encompasses multiple brain and sensory regions as well as fine motor skills making it more likely to be encoded into the long- term memory.
