    urea - proteins, and from the process deamination ammonia is produced which is toxic

    excess amino acids are converted to fats and carbohydrates which can be stored - this occurs in the liver

    anti-diuretic hormone

  • the anti-diuretic hormone is released into the blood stream by the pituitary gland
