Learning Practical Investigation

• Learning Practical Investigation: Aim: To investigate if there is a gender difference in studying habits of pro-social and anti-social behaviours.
• Learning Practical Investigation: Results: Chi-squared conducted found to be not significant. Critical value- 3.84 and Observed value- 0.082.
• Learning Practical Investigation: Conclusion: In conclusion, by observing other people’s behaviours we are influenced to copy this behaviour. There is no difference in studying habits between genders.
• Learning Practical Investigation: Sample: Opportunity sampling. 16-17 year old , a-level students.

  • Naturalistic experiment design
  • Covert observation,
  • Non-participant.

  Observe the participants in the study area. Tally mark when behaviour occurs. After a while go up to participant to sign consent form, debrief and demo graphic questions.
