  • Blood
  • Yellow bile
  • Black bile
  • Phlegm
• 4 humours theory is that all 4 humours should be balanced, if not you will be ill.
• Hippocrates made observing and recording a high prioirity which made it much more likely to find the correct cure.
• Hippocrates collections is a set of books containing detailed symptoms and treatments, first of it's kind, used for centuries.
• Hippocrates encouraged people use herbal remedies as treatments instead of praying to god.
• The Hippocratic Oath is still used today by doctors when they graduate from university.
