charge of the light brigade VS bayonet charge

• both charge of the light brigade and bayonet charge look at the theme of honour however charge of the light brigade honours the charge of the soldiers while bayonet charge deems the seeking of honour a futile action. Despite this both acknowledge the misfortune of soldiers and their dehumanising.
• in the first paragraph the quote "half a league,half a league, half a league" is compared to the quote"suddenly he awoke and was running-raw"
• in the second paragraph the quote "flash'd all their sabres bare" is compared to the quote "lugged a rifle numb as a smashed arm"
