When a person agrees in public with a group but privately disagrees with the groups viewpoint or behaviour. It’s a temporary change.
What’s internalisation?
Publicly changing behaviour to fit in with a group while also agreeing with them privately. This is the deepest form of conformity where the beliefs of the group become part of the individual’s beliefs.
What’s identification?
Confirming to the demands of a given social role in society, however no change in internal views.
What’s NSI?
Normative social influence is she a person confirms to fit in with a group because they don’t want to appear foolish or be left out.
What’s ISI?
Informational social influence is when a person conforms because they have a desire to be right so they look to others they believe have more info.
