Materials and equipment

• Animation paper: a special type of paper use to rough out animation drawings. Usually 12 field or 15 field
• Drawing pencil: use to rough out key drawing
• Eraser: use to remove pencil markings in a surface such as paper. It is available in soft plastic and rubber
• Clutch pencil: commonly use by animators for clean up drawings. It is a mechanical type of pencil that doesn't have to be sharpened
• Pencil sharpener used to sharpen a pencils lead by shaving away it's wood surface
• Brush used to get rid of any carbon dust or eraser residue
• Masking tape used to secure animation papers or for taping down the peg bar
• Used to catch the right facial expression and action for character
• Peg bar used to fasten animation paper to prevent from moving while working on the drawing
• Animation disc a drawing disc placed on a light box and used to work out camera moves and panning walk cycles
• Animation light box used to clearly through all the layers of drawing
