Mechanical System

• Arm: Connects to the BASE and supports he microscope HEAD
• Revolving nosepiece: It is connected to the body tube and lies just above the stage. It can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease the magnification.
• Slide holder: Holds the slide in place
• Stage: hold firmly in place the slide to be examined; can be adjusted front to back and side to side
• Base: Supports the entire microscopic structure.
