place some dilute acid (eg hydrochloric acid) in a beaker
2. Gently heat it with a bunsen burner
3. Keep adding insoluble base (eg copper oxide) a little bit at a time until base is in excess (doesn't disappear anymore) and would have neutralised all the acid.
4. Filter out excess copper oxide using filter paper and filter funnel
5. heat up the filtered solution using a water bath (to reduce the risk of damaging the salt)
6. once evaporated a bit of the water off and start seeing some crystals forming, stop heating and leave it to cool- will cause more crystals to form
7.Filter crystals using filter paper and dry crystals
