  • Off-the-job- •Involves work at home or courses at company training centres/colleges.

  • off the job disadvantages- •More expensive than on-the-job training
  • pros of internal recruitment- short and cheap and motivational for workers
  • cons of internal recruitment- leaves a vacancy in another department
  • pros of external recruitment- bring in new ideas and strategies
  • con of external recruitment- long and expensive process
  • internal recruitment- when a business recruits someone who works for them already
  • external recruitment- hiring from outside the organization, usually from other companies
