• Education and Health Care plans introduced. Personal budget and involvement of parents.
• Parents who have a new child- parental leave can be shared, time off to go to clinic appointments before baby is born, parents who are adopting are allowed time off work.
• Children’s commissioner given stronger powers focussing on the rights of all children, represents the views and interests of children.
