  Took 5years to gow army from 100,000 to 1,400,000
• SDA- Beauty of labour 


  improvement of work environment- cleanliness, lighting, safety
• KDF- Strength through joy 


  Reward scheme offering leisure activities, they also set-up an affordable prize the volkswagen (the peoples car)
• DAF- German labour front 


  Replaced trade unions and promised to do what they did- offer protection to workers, rghts, and improved conditions
• Public service work scheme 


  1933- new building network of motorways to link cities, enabling new schools and hospitals

  Public workalso included drainage systems, planting forests
• These Nazi schemes gave the public an impression that the Nazis were good and improving germany

  This made them very popular and many believed that what Hitler was doing was right, they were brainwashed
