  • What is Whistle Blowing?
    where a member of staff reveals that the organisation they work for are engaging in unlawful practices such as threatening staff and breaking privacy laws.

    In some countries such as the UK, whistleblowers are protected by law. They are protected from being fired or not being promoted as a result of their actions.

    where an employee is treated unfairly due to their personal or physical appearance in which they have no control.

    It is a set of rules which identifies how people work i certain professions are required to behave.
  • Why would an organisation gave a code of practices?
    For behaviour, equality, discrimination and Confidentiality, in which rules based on what data can and cannot be shared with others.

    Employees must agree to the codes of practice, so they are clear on what the company is expecting at work.
  • What is uses of information?
    Laws such as general data protection regulation (GDPR) and the data protection act ensures that organisations must responsible process personal data.
