  • Abrasive is a very harsh cleaning agents. Made up of mineral particles and hence are very hard and rough to use.
  • Degreasers are consist of strong alkalis to dissolve proteins.They are extremely corrosive and damage the surface.Most of the degreasers have a base of sodium metasilicate or caustic soda.
  • Acids can dissolve calcium and metal salts and find use in tub,tiles,sink and toilet bowl cleaners.
  • Organic solvents have a specific place in products where grease removal and cleaning without leaving a residue is important window cleaners and products for removing finger marks on walls for example.
