• What is the cerebrum?

  Divided into four lobes and two hemispheres
• How do the hemispheres communicate with each other?

  Via the corpus callosum
• What does the cerebellum?

  Controls motor skills, balance and co-ordination
• What does the diencephalon contain?

  Thalamus and hypothalamus
• What does the diencephalon do?

  Relay station for nerve impulses and is responsible for homeostasis
• What does the brain stem do?

  Responsible for maintaining heart rate and breathing
