    Produced in the pituitary gland, stimulates the release of the egg (ovulation)
  • Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)

    Produced in the pituitary gland, stimulates the maturation of an egg in the ovaries
  • Increasing estrogen levels
    Start to inhibit FSH (negative feedback)
