  • What are orthodox Jews?

    They believe in Torah word-for-word believe that it is the direct word of God. Tend to be more traditional. Have services in synagogue in Hebrew. Will visit synagogue daily

    Aim is to keep the tradition of Judaism but modernise it. E.g. belief that the creation story in Genesis is symbolic than an actual account. Allows scientific findings to work along religion

    Similar to reform Judaism. More radical movement than Reform teaches that all laws must be brought up-to-date. E.g. people do not need to obey the Jewish dietary laws if they do not wish to
