    • Describe setting and weather
    • Describe characters in detail (no more than 3)
    • Make some action happen and describe it
    • Short paragraph reflecting on the mood in media res
    • Leaving the scene resolution
    • Alliteration-where 2 or more words start with the same letter.
    • Sibilance-repetition of an s or z sound.
  • Assonance-repetition of vowel sound.
    • Anaphora-sentences that begin with the same word.
    • Proper nouns-a noun that requires a capital letter.
    • Imagery-when the writer creates a strong image in the reader's mind.
