• Abstract summarizes all sections and helps readers decide whether or not to read the entire report.

• Treatment the course of action designed to help a patient.
• Bias a researcher’s desire to get certain results rather than others.
• Outcomes the result at the end of a test or trial.
• Conclusions what has been learned or shown at the end of a study
• Mean the arithmetic average
• Median the middle where half the scores fall above, half below
• Dependent variable the variable that is being tested measured or tested in an experiment
