  • Creating and Editing Slides

    1. Use the "Insert" tab to add slides, text boxes, images, charts, and other elements
    2. Use the "Home" tab to format the text and other elements
  • Inserting Multimedia
    1. Click on the slide where you want to insert the multimedia
    2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the top menu bar
    3. To insert an image, click on "Pictures" and then browse for the image you want to use. Click "Insert" once you've found it
    4. To insert a video or audio clip, click on "Video" or "Audio" and then browse for the file you want to use. Click "Insert" once you've found it
    5. You can also insert online videos from sites like YouTube or Vimeo by clicking on "Video" and then selecting "Online Video". Type in the search term for the video you want and select the video you want to use
    6. Once inserted, you can resize the multimedia by clicking and dragging the corners of the image or video frame
    7. You can also add effects to the multimedia by selecting it and then clicking on the "Format" tab. Here you can adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of an image or add special effects to a video
  • SmartArt Feature
    1. Open your PowerPoint presentation and navigate to the slide where you want to add a SmartArt graphic
    2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the PowerPoint ribbon
    3. Click on the "SmartArt" button in the "Illustrations" section of the ribbon. This will open the "Choose a SmartArt Graphic" dialog box
    4. In the "Choose a SmartArt Graphic" dialog box, browse through the various categories of SmartArt graphics on the left side of the window, such as "Process," "Cycle," "Hierarchy," etc. Click on a category to see the available SmartArt graphics in that category
    5. Click on the SmartArt graphic you want to use, then click on the "OK" button to insert it into your slide
    6. Depending on the type of SmartArt graphic you selected, you may be prompted to enter text into the various shapes or boxes of the diagram. Simply click on the shape or box and start typing
    7. You can customize the appearance of your SmartArt graphic by using the "Design" and "Format" tabs in the PowerPoint ribbon. These tabs provide various options for changing the colors, layout, and style of your SmartArt graphic
