44 thieves (symptom was stealing)
control participant were 44 non thieves
31 boys and 13 girls
aged between 5 and 17 years old
The seriousness of their seriousness was graded. Grade 5 thieves being stealing for the longest time, some for more than 3 years. Grade 1 thieves have only committed one theft.
Average intelligence was also taken
50% had an IQ score of 18-114 average being 100. A further 15 had a higher IQ and 2 had a core below 85
