  1. Apostolic tradition and succession —> the Catholic Church does not have exclusive rights to preach Jesus' message

  2. Papal authority —> no human is infallible

  3. 2000 years of continuous teaching —> not everyone shares the same beliefs as catholics. Disputes about Jesus' words with peter and how they should be interpreted

  1. Church is servant to scripture —> no clear leadership leading to mixed opinions and ideas

  2. Church teaching should be in line with the bible —> bible is full of errors and contradictions

  3. Biblical idea that we are all priests —> people need more firm structures. Could lead to wrong message being preached
