    • 1930: 107 seats
    • July 1932: 230 seats (largest party, 37% but no majority)
    • Nov 1932: 196 seats (33% vote)

    1. Hindenburg refused to make Hitler Chancellor
    2. Von Papen became Chancellor but couldn't get majority
    3. Von Schleicher became Chancellor but also couldn't get majority
    4. Von Papen met with Hitler, they agreed Von Papen would help Hitler become Chancellor if he made Von Papen Vice Chancellor
    5. Von Papen convinced Hindenburg he could control Hitler
    6. Hindenburg had no options left and made Hitler Chancellor on 30th January 1933
