  Mark uses this title in Jesus' baptism and transfiguration, it allows Christians to understand the nature of God, and in Jewish scriptures the king of Israel was called God's Son

  Greek word meaning "anointed one", Hebrew word "Messiah" means "anointed one", Mark refers to this title in Peter's declaration, it became popular to use after Jesus' resurrection but Jesus did not use this title himself

  Jesus means "God Saves", he is a universal Saviour who came for everyone, Mark did not use this title in his gospel
