Prokaryotic VS Eukaryotic

Cards (2)

  • Prokaryotic
Unicellular, lack a nucleus or other membrane bound organelles, their genetic material (DNA) is found within the cytoplasm. Prokaryotic includes Bacteria and Archaea. These cells are very small (0.1-5.0Um)
  • Eukaryotic
Genetic material inside a membrane-bound nucleus. Typically 10-100Um in diameter. Has multiple membrane-bound organelles. Many organisms have Eukaryotic cells, e.g. fungi, plants, animals. Can be Unicellular or Multicellular.
