  • Example introduction
    • COVID-19-the pandemic that forced people, establishments, businesses, and nations to close down and isolate themselves from the public, has substantial adverse effects on individuals' mental health, particularly teenage learners. Findings suggest that students who are enrolled in online classes due to the pandemic had difficulties coping with the new academic system (Tan, 2020). Feelings of laziness, loss of sleep and interest, and restlessness are just some of the evident signs of mental distress among students (Lapaz & Reymunde, 2020).

    • Stress, an indication of a mental health issue, has been a topic that has emerged as a recurring event in the lives of learners during the pandemic. Iwasaki, Mactavish, and Kelly (2005) stated, "stress is a frequent topic in popular media, health, and social service, and policy-making areas" (p. 81).
