Destruction of Alba longa

• Mettius didn't accept defeat and formed a secrete alliance with the Etruscan citied of Veii and Fidanae.
• Tullus was aware of Mettius' betrayal and inspired his army to defeat the Etruscans.
• After the battle, Tullus exposed Mettius' plan to destroy Rome and executed him by tying the Sabin leader between 4 chariots which ripped his body.
• The Romans destroyed Alba Longa and resettled the Albans in Rome.
