    • Leprosy
      a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae. The disease affects the skin, the peripheral nerves, mucosal surfaces of the upper respiratory tract and the eyes. 
    • Rabies
      a viral zoonotic disease that causes progressive and fatal inflammation of the brain and spinal cord.
    • Soil-transmitted helminthiasis
      refer to the intestinal worms infecting humans that are transmitted through contaminated soil 
    • Filariasis
      a disease caused by a chronic mosquito-borne parasitic infection. Chronic infection can lead to swelling of the extremities, hydroceles, and testicular masses.
    • Schistosomiasis
      an acute and chronic parasitic disease caused by blood flukes (trematode worms) of the genus Schistosoma
