Projectile Motion 9

    Cards (16)

    • Uniform acceleration- it is a type of motion in which the velocity of an object changes by an equal amount in every time period
    • In uniformuniformly acceleration, the value of the acceleration is constant. It does not change. The velocity changes but at a constant rate. An object with zero acceleration is said to be in unform motion.
    • An object in uniformly accelerated motion has non-zero but constant acceleration
    • Projectile- an object undergoing projectile motion
    • Trajectory-the arc/curve like motion path undergone by a projectle
    • The horizontal component of projectile motion has the acceleration equal to 0 since the velocity is constant
    • Why the horizontal component has 0 acceleration?

      The velocity is constant
    • The vertical component of acceleration is constant since the acceleration is due to gravity
    • Why the vertical component which is the acceleration is constant
      Because of gravity
    • The formula of gravity is 9.8 m/s²
    • The projectile motion is combination of horizontal and verticalvertical motion
    • When an object reaches a maximum height what is the vertical velocity equal?
      0
    • The amount of time the object reaches the maximum height is the same aamount of time needed to face the ground
    • What angle has the maximum height?
      75
    • Which angke the the longest range?
      45°
    • What is the relationship of 30 and 60 and 15 and 45?
      Same
