  • Theme - the central idea of the production, may touch aspect of life such as love, legends, one's search for happiness
  • Plot - the story line, what is happening
  • Characters - actor and actress are the various character interwoven with the plot story of the play
  • Script or libretto - the story is narrated, danced around or sang through this important element, the success of the play depends hugely on how well the librettist or scriptwriter wrote the dialogue
  • Music or Sound - there are three basic kinds of sounds for play: natural sound, real and unreal music, dialogue
