    Non Accelerating Inflation Rate of Unemployment (NAIRU) is approximately 4%.
  • Why, when unemployment rate increases, participation rate decreases?
    if unemployment rate increases, more workers become discouraged, and leave the labour force, thus decreasing participation rate.
