    • Younger people are 9x more likely to be victims of personal crime

    • ICS found that older people are less likely to be victims but more likely to be injured in assaults. 15.5% have a high level of worry about crime

  • Trends
    • Young people are responsible for 23% of police recorded crime. Disproportionally high as 10-17 year olds make up 1/10 of the population
    • 10-17 year old males made up 20% of all recorded crime, whereas females only accounted for 4%
