Clauses

• If it doesnt have a subject and a predicate, It is a phrase
• If it has a subject and predicate and it makes sense kt its a full sentence, it is a Indpendent Clause
• An Independent Clause is a complete thought that stands alone as a sentence.
• A dependent clause can be an independent clause if we add another independent clause to it.
• If it has a subject and a predicate but it doesnt makes sense, it is a dependent clause
• Predicate modifies the subject
• A predicate must have a verb
• The Predicate tells us something about the subject
• The Subject is what the sentence is about
