  National Integrated Basic Research Agenda - focus on basic principles of research with six issue-based programs
• NUHRA


  National United Health Research Agenda - implemented by DOST-PCHRD, serves as the national roadmap for health research in the Philippines
• AANR


  Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources - implemented by DOST-PCAARD, supports the use of advanced and emerging technologies and empowers farmers
• IEET


  Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology - implemented by DOST-PCIEERD, focused on industrial development and development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and countryside development
• DRRCCA


  Disaster Risk Assessment and Climate Change Adaptation - implemented by PAGASA, NDRRMC, PHILVOLCS, responsible for the safety of the Filipino people
• The HNRDA is in line with AmBisyon Natin 2040: matatag, maginhawa at panatag na buhay para sa lahat, which has three pillars: Malasakit (enhancing the social fabric), Pagbabago (reducing inequality), and Kaunlaran (increasing potential growth)
• AmBisyon Natin 2040 represents the collective long-term vision and aspirations of the Filipino people for themselves and for the country in the next 25 years
• All sectors of the society, whether public or private, should direct their efforts towards creating opportunities for Filipinos to enjoy a matatag, maginhawa at panatag na buhay
