  • Wages were a factor in standard of living. For people who worked jobs in like the RAD had a decrease in standard of living because their wages didn't raise as much. However, people who worked in the rearmament project had higher wages. Higher wages led to increase in the food prices. And people who worked in the RAD couldn't keep up with the prices.
    Furthermore, people who were Jews and disabled lost jobs so decrease in standard of living.

    • This was the Strength Through Joy policy
    • Hitler knew that people wouldn't be motivated to work so he arranged more trips
    • This included sport activities, museums, cinemas, abroad

    1. In replace of Trade Unions
    2. It would discuss about minimum wages and maximum hours
    3. No negotiations
    4. A policing method to make people work
    5. No striking
  • What was the German Beauty Front?
    • A way to improve working facilities.
    • People would get tax free for working on improving facilites but sometimes not paid
