Variable - quantity that may change within the context of a mathematical problem
Constant - a quantity with fixed value
Term - consist of variable or constant or both
Polynomial - mathematical expressions that consists of one or more term. It may be a monomial, binomial, trinomial.
Mathematical expression - consists of terms separated by either plus or minus signs
Mathematical sentence - combines two mathematical expressions using a comparison operator
maybe an equality or inequality
Mathematical equation - two mathematical expressions that are equal
Universal statement - says that a certain property is true for all elements in a set (every,each)
Conditional statement - says that if one thing is true, then some other thing also has to be true (if-then)
Existential statement - says that given a property that may or may not be true, there is at least one thing for which the property is true (there exist)
