• elements of a narrative are the character , setting , plot , theme , conflict , POV.
• elements of narrative is the main structure of a short story
• setting is the exact time and place where a certain event happened
• characters are The people or animals that portrays in the story.
• there are 6 types of characters and they are protagonist , antagonist , dynamic , round , flat , static.
• protagonist is the good character or the victimized one in the short story
• the antagonist is the bad character of the story or the opposite of the protagonist
• static is the character that does not change she/he/it can be rather good or bad
• dynamic is the the character who changes.
• dynamic can also transforms from being good to bad

  or bad to good.
• round is a type of character that has unpredictable actions
• flat is the type of character that is easy to predict
• conflict is the main problem in the short story
• there are two types of conflict there's internal and external conflict
• internal conflict is a problem of one's self or weakness
• external conflict has five types man vs society , supernatural , nature , man and man vs tech
• man vs man is a character is fighting directly against another character
• man vs nature is a character is facing or overcoming a force of nature or an animal.
• man vs society is a character is struggling against traditions, popular

  beliefs, or rules.
• man vs tech is a character is struggling something created with technology. vs tech is
• man vs supernatural character is a struggling against a supernatural

  being.
• the plot of the story is mostly the main structure of the story
• exposition is the beginning or start of the story
• rising action is like an introduction to the climax
• climax is similar to conflict or the main problem in the short story
• falling action is the immediate reaction to the climax
• resolution is the ending of the story
• Theme is the main topic or what the story is all about
• theme is also the main message of the story
• some of the common topics are Good vs. Evil , Love , Redemption , Courage and Perseverance , Revenge
• POV is an angle which a story is told
• there are three types of POV'S first , second and third POV
• A story using a first-person point of view is written as if it is being told by a character in the story Involves the use of either of the pronouns I, me, my,myself, mine, us, we, our, and ourselves.
• A story told from the second-person point of view puts the reader in the

  action by using the pronouns "you" and your Involves the use of either of the pronoun you,your, and yourself/ yourselves.
• A narrator who is not part of the story Here, the narrator is an observer who tells the story from the outside Involves the use of he, she, him, her/hers, his,they, their/theirs, them, it, and its.
• Persuasive Text is a text that attempts to convince a reader on a certain point or issue
• persuasion is also know as convincing them about a certain issue or topic
