  • Corporators are those who compose the corporation. They are the stockholders or members.
  • Incorporators are the stockholders or members mentioned in the articles of incorporation, originally forming the corporation, and are signatories.
  • Stockholders are owners of the shares of stocks in a stock corporation either by subscription, direct purchase, or transfer from another shareholder
  • Members are corporators of a non-stock corporation
  • Promoters are persons who cause the formation & organization of the corporation and the ones who undertake the steps of launching the enterprise
  • Subscribers are the persons who agree to take and pay for the original, unissued shares of a corporation.
  • Underwriters are usually investment bankers who agreed to buy, at stated terms, an entire or substantial part of an issue of securities.
